These are photos from a day trip out of Rovinj, with three stops. The first is the medieval town of Bale. The second is the nearby town of Vodnjan, best known for the mummified remains of saints in the church of St. Blaise (no photos of those!). The final stop was Pula, a busy port city best known for its Roman ruins, including a large 1st C amphitheatre that once held up to 20,000 people.

It wasn't our best weather day--clouds came and went, and we got some rain while in Pula.
