Today, we drove east from our accommodation. Our first destination was Vatnajökull National Park, where we did two different hikes of approximately 1.5 hours each from the Skaftafell visitor center – one up to the waterfall and one to the face of the glacier. Our second stop was at the glacial lagoons: Jökulsárlón and Fjallsárlón.
