We drove to the Dolomites from Venice (~2 hours) and went straight for Passo Falzarego and the lift at Lagazuoi, which we passed by 10 years earlier but did not have time to stop and take the lift.
It was a little cloudy, but we deemed the visibility "good enough," so up we went. The cable car takes just about five minutes to reach the top. There are various viewing points, as well as the opportunity to set off on more challenging trails (not this time).
After taking some time to enjoy the view and celebrate our return to the Dolomites, we took the lift back down and headed out for our home base in Vigo di Fassa via the Strada Dolomiti (great Dolomite road).
